play list Browsing

Please bear with me as I am relatively new but learning fast.

When using CrossDJ with U-Mix Control Pro 2

Hitting the shift button while rotating the view button will shift the focus so you can then navigate the folders playlist or back to track with a folder or playlist.

I just described the expected behavior.

Now load the video plug in

I can't navigate the same way with the video plug-in loaded because the view button seems to only rotate up or down on the list of video fader options.

As soon as I unload the video plug in, everthing is back to normal.

Is there something That I am doing or may have screw up in the maaping (haven't touch it) or can someone repeat this behaviour and this is a bug?

Question #2 As metioned I am using the UMCP2. I am also using a Quneo to suplemeent the U-Mix Control Pro 2 as a controller.

When using loops I know how to enter slip mode by using the mouse. However, I can see that there is something mapped in the UMCP2 to enter slip mode. I don't know what that button is.

It boils down to the following:
How do you enter slip mode via a button on the U-Mix Control Pro 2. If it is not possible then i will map it to Quneo, but the UMCP2 mapping appear to have something already there.

Thank in advance for your help and please once again pardon my naive questions.

Hey, i`m not quite sure about that but:

I think you can enter slip mode with holding shift + press jogbutton

While i'm not home right now i can't test it for you ;)
But i remember this because i mapped it myself this way in RC Version and than found out that MV also mapped it like this in 2.3.
Hope i remember right

There is 2 different mapping :
- one is the normal behavior
- the other is for the video plugin

So if you want the normal behavior, simply force select the classical mapping.

The slip mode can be (de)activated with 'shift+vinyl'

As always thank you HeRo and the Mixvibes Team for the excellent support.

One last question base in your response.
How do suggest to force the classical mapping. Is it by remapping or is there a shorcut to do that? Since there are 2 different mappings can a list of commands stating the difference between the 2 or at least a list of commands for the video plug-in mode be provided?

They're available into Preferences/MIDI as 2.30 and 2.3-video
You can compare, duplicate/edit them as you wish.

My software does not show a 2.3-video mapping. Is there a place to download. Don't see it in the download center.

Update your software and your plugin.
If you don't have the video plugin activated you won't see any video mappings.

Ahh.OK. Since I am still doing cue points and loops as I am a recent convert to Cross DJ I am still working with my collection. The other day I was testing functionality with some big screen and it was perfect but that is when I noticed the "bug" (not really a bug). I went back to audio mode and it didn't occurred to me to look in the MIDI section while the video plug was activate.

Put me shame I feel a little dumb now. But hey I learn something new everyday and once again Thank you so much for you excellent support.
