Hello Mixvibes Family,

Just yesterday I bought U-Mix Control Pro - basically to have a good backup solution using the same program Cross which I´m already using with Turntables plus external Mixer for several years

The Service Staff at my Retailer and the product description on their Page ensured me that it would be compatible with ALL Mixvibes Software Products. Therefore I just made and firmware update which I found on the DL Site of this forum. Than updated from Cross 2.0.1. to the newest version 2.2.0.

Within Cross 2.2.0. settings section it shows the UMC Asio driver to be used as main application. On the surface of the controller it´s the faders and the knobs which are working what also can be observed on the PC Screen in real time. CUE and SYNCE buttons (which I´m normally not using) are enlightend and blinking but until now - never the PLAY button!

ONLY things which WON´T work AT ALL are the JOGHWEELS and the PITCH FADERS!!! If anybody has a solution or a SCRIPT which covers all related conflicts - please let me know!!! HELP! S.O.S.! I´m sure the Solution is on its way (hopefully)

The answer to the last question is that Cross is usable with the control pro ,,,which version do you have ,,pro or pro 2 ,,, .will re read your posting to get answers to the other as i can ,,,,,and welcome to mixvibes

in the meanwhile I tried out a whole amount of different things to get this machine working properly. Finally last night I made a serious progress (both decks were playing but no headphone output) and just today had a look into the audio settings dialogue and noticed that I was simply blind before I just made the correct settings inside Cross 2.2. just switching the input channels off except one line out 3/4!

But when I look at all these diffent subjects in here I realize it´s quite a hustle for some users to make a progress within Windows (I think it´s just a very few Mac Users who have similar problems or am I wrong?)

For a while I was very close to either throw something out of the window or bringing this thing back to the retailer, but I thought: no, keep going - and this finally worked....Ahh, so glad! - Close this thread with the message

glad to hear success and not the sound of breaking glass thats what the fourm for ,,give help when needed and in tern ,recieve it when needed kinda like karma

The truth is that audio routing and device handling by an OS is not so commonly understood by the mass, making it looks difficult or not so plug & play.
