Left side of mix control stopped functioning

Postby amatuermixa on 30 Dec 2012, 21:34

Cue/pause/sync buttons not working on the left side of my mix control, however the right side & level knobs are working as normal.
Any suggestions for this? Its just started at random.

  not shure ,,need more info ,,as to system spec ,,,,do the other functions work ,,for that side ,,, look in preferences and open MIDI tab and check that the online icon flashes while you are operating the functioning controls vs the controls that dont work,,,by the way what version is the controller pro or pro 2,,if its pro choose one of the alternative mappings for the unit and see if the same occures,, gonna need info as to what you have tried and whats going on to help you sort it out

 my bad ,,U-Mix Control and Cross DJ le ,, no alternative mappings :?: i think if there is try that ,

Please try what daniel suggested. If you do not get any reply from the side's controls then it seems to be a hardware issue. If so please contact your vendor and get it repaired/exchanged/whatever.

Nevertheless a happy new year!

Cheers,

Some info: I'm running W7 on the mix control 2 (not the pro version) the pause button works after turning off the controller for a while, but eventually fails, the sync & cue buttons however have completely stopped working. When in the preferences section I don't see a MIDI tab anywhere, its surprised me as the controller is relatively new.

Sort of solved. I went to reinstall the software to see if it was a problem with Cross, sadly I don't seem to have the sleeve containing the liscence info. I downloaded a trial version & I can't see any problems so far, all the buttons work as they should. How should I go about getting a new license for Cross? I hope I shouldn't have to pay for another

You can try and see if there is a update for your LE version of Cross or download your original version from your Download Centre.

downloads.php

If not you could always upgrade to CrossDJ or Cross itself for a special discounted price.

Please enter your serial in your Profile.

By doing this you will be able to download any updates for CrossDJ when they become available.

Also it's a safe please to store your serial number if you happen to need it again ;)
