Hi! I have a problem with a soundcard. In windows panel and in CrossDJ I see that card is active, but i tried to set it in CrossDJ and I still can't hear a sound from speakers neither headphones. I connected my speakers to 1/2 output at back and headphones to front input. In settings also I think, everything is good. (Output 1 - 1/2, Output 2 - 3/4, Mode: Dual Stereo)
I've tried both drivers - 1.0.3 and 1.0.5 and there is no effect
Every function of controller excluding soundcard works fine.


Can anyone help?

hate to ask,,is the master level up silly but the descripition of your sound config is correct ,,some other information is missing ,,,is the cue/monitor section working is the knob for output vol up ,is the master/mix knob on the controller up is the U-Mix Control panel vol sliders up ,,, little bit more info ,,is it the pro1 or 2 ,,, :?:

This is PRO 1. I've checked all, you wrote and everything is as it should be. Besides everything is working (default sound and monitor sound on headphones) if i change to my ASIO4ALL setup, using my 5.1 soundcard for PC.

is the U-Mix sc listed as asio U-Mix in Cross,,do you have the volume panel installed from the latest driver some thing is missing from the info ,,

Yes, i have 1.0.5 driver installed but i tried also 1.0.3 and there is no positive effect.

Is the Output working generally?
Set your U-Mix as default playback device in windows (systempanel->sound) and start some mediaplayer for testing.

Ok, problem solved
I had controller connected to computer by some device - usb speaker with 4 next usb ports because of short original wire and this made it impossible to use controller soundcard. When i connected U-Mix Control Pro directly to computer everything is ok

I'll continue on this same topic, as my problem is similar.

I made a fresh install with Win8 and CrossDJ 2.2, but the interface won't work on Cross. Windows can play sounds through Control-Pro and the buttons work on Cross, but Cross won't use it as a soundcard.

When I try to select it as a audio device in Cross, it says: "Error opening speakers (U-Mix Control Pro): "Bad Format"

Any ideas? It's connected directly to USB-port on the laptop.

Edit: Do I need a driver? I don't think I ever installed any drivers with win7

you said control pro ....not control pro 2
first is this the first time you are installing the controller if so have you updated the drivers and had a U-Mix Control volume panel installed ,should be a short cut avaible on you desk top ,,,
can you check in windows sound preferences that the U-Mix sc is not selected as default,,Cross wont use it if its already used by windows ,,check you installed sc as default and try that
