Don't know what they are but if they're not m-jpeg into an avi container you're not getting enough frame for any smooth jump. So when reaching a new position it will wait (or jump ?) to the next keyframe that is not necessary close to your position.

Hmmm

can you upload a sample video?
i convert some loops but still delays on loop

(no delays on other vj software)
and Cross cant handle mov files with dxv codec (my default video codec for vj stuff)

You can test drive this (video part, do what you prefer for audio) :
Super_settings.PNG

of course if you're starting from a video file that have missing keyframes it won't be as smooth as expected.

I personaly only trust VOB file as source, so if you use a VOB or a MJPEG from VOB, you shouldn't have missing frames while jumping, seeking, looping.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

FYI - In the screen shot I would probably select a higher bitrate for the audio than 128kbps. ;)

VOB files by default should contain uncompressed audio (the standard and major advantage for the DVD format).

And I'm assuming you're using 25fps because you're using a PAL source? If the OP is using an NTSC source they should probably select 29.97 or 30fps. :D
