started playing wih control pro 2,,briefly looked at the mapping ,,havent peeked at any info avaible for using samplers,in the 4x2 mode ,,,have control of the first set of 4 ,,thought shift and sample pad might be the way to activate the second set of samples,,but that changes the sample mode , how are the second set of 4 accessed,by MIDI comand from the controller

the possibilities of altering the mapping to achieve this as with the control pro,,ie 8 sampler MIDI map ,,shift used to gain access to the second set of sample pads

bumping this thread ,,just to get info ,,is there the potential to remap the controller to get MIDI control of all 8 sample pads ,, this is pre emptive of me trying to map it and get on everone nerve and patients

does shift send a MIDI message or is it a "internal controler shift"

my thoughts were similiar but i think the shift button is used with the pad control to change sample mode in control pro 2
not saying it cant be ,,but need info from support on which way would be best,,also would be happy if it was created by the company ,to allievate the error factor,,,,the last option will be too use keyboard mapping,

if touching the jog without turning, does not interrupt track playing i might have a solution. but unfortunatelly it woudt be the "marxon way"

The shift button send something but is also hardware. We use it the hardware way.

To use the 8 pads/locators, you need to :
- replace 'delete pads 1 to 4' by 'launch pad 5 to 8'
- the same for locators
- map the outputs to work with the 'new' control

hahahaha classic, i have similar "ways", karma given!

I changed mine to 8x locators, as I have a padkontrol for the sample banks, and the 2 control knobs on the pad kontrol for the filter works great
