I recently bought Cross DJ 2.0.1 because of the tight integration between this DJ software and Pioneer's Rekordbox. In the advertisment was set that i could import my rekordbox files into Cross DJ with my Hot Cue's, Cue Points and Loops. Whatever I am trying to do, i just cant do it.

Transferring files from rekordbox to Cross DJ is no problem. But it loses all the information about Cue's, Hot Cue's and loops. Is this really posibble? And how should I do it?

Joenol, I'm glad you found this, cause it is basically mixvibes saying what should be happening, but is not currently. Or, it's someone from the Rekordbox division saying what should be happening between the two softwares, without talking to the guy in the Cross division.

Both MixVibes and Rekordbox media collections use the same standard .xml format : Rekordbox users will be able to import their complete Rekordbox database into Cross/ CrossDJ including their cue points, hot cues, loops and beat grid info.

The response that I got in the thread that daniel posted was that

Cross doesn't write into other softwares databases but only into the medias so you need to reload/refresh from the other softwares.

Completely clashes with the other quote from the site. Also clashes with a few of the other things that were mentioned in that thread.

Also make note of the arrows on the picture that go both ways, not just import into Cross. The only catch is, they say "will be able to" not can currently, or can. So if this is possible, like your page says, when?

Is there no 'official' technical support from Cross DJ on this forum?
Cause if I cant import my cues, hotcues and loops Cross DJ is useless for me and I just wasted my money..

I think that Team found a bug similar to this with an other software (problem with cues and loops importing to Cross) and it's on its way for fix.

As already said there is a bug that will only kept cue/loops from opened tracks. So tracks not opened will loose these informations.

so is there right now a possible way to import Cue's and Loops from rekordbox directly to Cross?

Yes : import third party database and choose the XML generated with rekordbox.

I don't know probably in the next release and before you ask I don't have the release schedule.

And how is it possible to do that?
I really cant find a map with XML rekordbox files or something.
Where is that stored?
