Control Pro 2/U-Mix 44 Problems

Hi. I've been using Control Pro 2 for a while now, but annoying as you can't use headphones. So I purchased U-Mix 44, as was told this is what I needed. However, I can't get them to work for love nor money. I am using Cross DJ, have both CP2 and U-Mix 44 connected to a Toshiba laptop via USB. I've played around with the Audio settings in the preferences section, tried different cables with the InPut/OutPut sections on U-Mix 44, and nothing works. The best I get is being able to use Load B only, with no ability to hear the second track in Load A, and everything through the headphones sounds quiet.

Help! Apologies if in the wrong section. Couldn't see how to post in the Tech Sup bit.

Cheers!

Please enter your serial number for your software version in here

ucp.php?i=169

When this done you should be able to post in the Technical Support part of the forum, and this thread can be moved to the appropriate sub forum ;)

*EDIT*

Looks like Daniel has beat to it, lol

This what you want.

EDIT : you need to install the asio drivers if you want to have full access to all the ins/outs of the soundcard.
You can download them here : [PC] [WIN XP, VISTA, SEVEN] U-MIX44 1.0.4

I've set everything up as per the screen shot above but no joy. Now I can just about hear it in my headphones. Nothing coming out of the stereo.

I've attached what I'm looking at in preferences.

Cheers!

I don't understand how you have hooked your setup.
- speakers are going at the back of the U-Mix44 on outputs 1&2
- headphones in the headphones sockets that is also the same sound from outputs 3&4 at the back, so you can also check there.

You should see the leds blinking on the soundcard.
If they're blinking and still no sound then you need to crank your volumes into Windows.

- Right click on the speakers into the Windows traybar
- Playback devices
- Double click the U-Mix44
- Go to the Levels tab
- Put speakers and headphones to 100%
- Ok
- Close all the windows

Sorry for late reply I've been away.

So here's how I have it all set-up:

U-Mix Control Pro 2 connected to laptop via USB.
U-Mix 44 also connected to laptop via USB.
Headphones in headphone socket.
Laptop connect to stereo via standard audio/speaker cables.

And that's it' I've tried connecting the speakers to the Output on U-Mix 44 and from there back to stereo but still nothing.

Cheers
