Hi Community,

i have some problems with Flac Tags.
Cross dont read/shows all Tags after importing tracks (Bpm, Key, Comment...)
There are no problems with other programms,
so i guess this is a Cross issue.
Is there somebody else having this problem?

Best regards
Marxon

Cross had some problems with tags in flac files but i think these were solved, the most of them. I will check them again.

You are right. Cross doesn't store bpm or comments in id tags.

May i should talk like that:

"I've payed for a software and I want a software "perfect" and created for professional djs...I hope that Cross team listen to what djs want and work on it...I would like to have the possibility to save and recall my FLAG TAGS...I don't think is a very difficul thing to do for a "programmer man" ...I'm only a user..I would like to have a "perfect" software...I work with software I don't
have time to try and try myself to resolve a problem....""
 ;)

Hey, they could just do what the VDJ rep did to me and tell you to change formats.... No, I'm not kidding.

Actually, when I asked about running VDJ on a Mac and if there were any issues they told me to buy a PC. :( For a company that claims to support it's use on Mac let's just say I'll never own VDJ - EVER.

Or they could do what Torq did on the MP3 side of things and just tell you that the stuff in the Torq database doesn't get written back to the ID3V2 tags - and you have to rescan the MP3's to get the tag information back into Torq... which would wipe out your cue points, etc. Well, until ver. 2.0... and then you had to rescan but not analyze the tracks to get the updated information and keep the cue points - but you still couldn't write the data back to the tags on the files.

In other words, trust me, it could be FAR FAR worse than just having to wait for a release or two.
