Cross DJ - MacBook - ScreenSaver Fail

Hi MV'ers
Anyone else noticed the screen saver failing to activate while Cross DJ 2.01 is running under OS 10.6.8?
Screensaver verifies operational from Finder, and while other apps are running, but CrossDJ appears to prevent the screen saver from kicking in ...

That´s beacause there´s a certain code-line that sends "cmd" to the system to prevent sleep, just like as if you were hitting the keyboard.
Should be fixed very soon I think.

... well, it's not like it's necessary while one is busy DJ'ing, I agree.
But sometimes working out in my studio, I may stop and go do other things, and while Cross DJ is the active app, it never lets the screensaver kicks in. Go for lunch, come back, the screen is still burning bright.
Another situation would be with autoplay running, one doesn't need to be sitting on the knobs the whole time, so it's ok if the screensaver kicks in.
Nothing too weird about that, you must agree.

I really like the fact that the screen saver doesn't come on...

To be more precise, Cross inhibits the screensaver on purpose.
This won't change in the upcoming version.
We might consider adding a user preference if most of the users want to have the choice
