Hi all,
I have just updated to Cross 2.0.1 so I could map the VSM4.1 easier but it seems to not be responding correctly. I'm new to mixing software so there is probably a lot I missed in the set up process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jim! Thank you so much for the quick reply! I will do my best to explain the problem with my limited software terminology. I go to MIDI section of Cross to activate the controller. Click on the VSM4.1 and no dice. I am unable to play audio. However the button lights on the controller light up when pressed. Not all of them tho. I hope this helps? :/

Mr Clark!
I see you're very active here in the forums! Thanks for the help!
The tab toggles green on n off randomly. No red however.

Okay. I will do my best to explain. I have downloaded the latest version of Cross. (2.0.1 is the one I have) I have updated all firmware for VMS4.1. I also have the latest ASIO for the VMS4.1 as well. I have gone to the MIDI tab in Cross. Clicked on the right controller. Says its Online. I go to play a file using the controller to trigger and no dice. However...the buttons do light up when I trigger the song via laptop.

To me this sounds like the MIDI section is absolutely working perfect. It seems as if your audio routing and/or driver selection is wrong. If you're doing screenshots please provide a screenshot of the audio settings tab in the Cross' preferences too - thanks for that! Nevertheless, before that, be sure that you routing mode is dual stereo and that you have choosen the right driver (ASIO4ALL?).
