[SOLVED] Cross Keyboard mapping

Hi

I would like to be able to press a key to e.g. load the selected track into player "A" and "B" (e.g. "<" and ">") instead of having to right-click the mouse.

It looks as though there's a display of mapped keys, but is there a way of changing the keyboard mapping?

Surely I'm missing something obvious?

In the 'Preferences' menu, there is an option to edit a keyboard mapping.

Simply press the 'x2' button at the bottom and it will create a duplicate keyboard map, which can then be edited to your rquirements. Simply select the new mapping and then you can change the settings on the right.

Hi.
Yea sorta obvious, but you have to look
goto file>preferences>keyboard> 'tracks rack'.
Look in there and you will find the default hot key for LOAD PLAYER A or B : think its ctrl+alt+ left or right directional arrow by default from what i remember :)
Change it to whatever suits you :) As Kev said above, make a duplicate keyboard map, as the factory ones are not editable ;)
Cheers

Hello Daniel,
I feel a bit silly asking this, since I've been all over the forum for the manual of Cross 2.0.1 and I can't seem to find it. I always end up with the previous 1.7...
Can you please point me to it.
Thanks a lot.

Hey Gamierge.
There is only 1.7 manual at the moment. It is still all the same -appart from the new sampler functions. There will be an updated manual very soon we are told ;)
There is the you tube new features tutorial also:

Isn't it here in this post?

At what point did they change from a white colour scheme to a black one? I'd assumed 2.0.1 or was it earlier?

In fact, on which page does it state what version of the software the manual is written for?

 someone will correct me if i am wrong , Cross DJ had the white center fader section to match the layout /color scheme of the control pro ,,up till version 2.0, then both Cross DJ and the full ver of Cross adopted the full black gui ,that is in 2.0..

not shure about the info as to what version the manual,, assumed it got updated with 1.7 and were still waiting for the updated info for 2.0

yes again someone will correct if this is not correct info
