hello!my laptop is "pass away".I"m all ready using the serial number on my PC also.So that means that i ill need a new serial number for my new laptop?As far as i know the serial number can be used only for two computers.

what exactly do you mean with path away? broken? or only left at your friends home?

You are allowed to install it on maximum of 2 computers so if one is broken you can install it to the new laptop which is as a replacement of the old one.

so what is your situation exactly?

Christian,thnks for the reply and sorry if i confused you.My laptop is broken.my problem is that i have all ready install the serial number on that broken laptop and also on my PC.Soon i ill have a new laptop,so ill need new serial number..?

Hey,

no if the laptop is broken and you has no options to bring it back to work you can install it with the same serial on the new laptop without any problem.

So you have to install it and use the serial you have and it should work fine.
