Hi there,
I got Vfx a while back, but only now getting a chance to set it up.
I have a M-Audio Fasttrack Pro external soundcard connected to KRK-Rokit 8 spreakers (which work fine).
When I install mixvibes Vfx software, I chose M-Audio Fasttrack Pro as directed in the manual. Now I can get sound this way but only control the software from screen, that is to say my Vfx controller will not react to the software. But when I set the software to autoconfigure, the controller magically comes alive... but now theres no sound.

Im running win 7, and am pretty tech savy but Ive been knocking my head against the wall with this for two days now.
Not exactly what i need when im looking for a new solution for my VJ shows.

:(

any help most sppreciated

The autoconfiguration is an automated process to use the default MIDI controler and the MixVibes soundcards.

If you want to use an other soundcard, simply go to Preferences/audio/soundcard, switch the auto configuration OFF
Select ASIO, your soundcard driver and set the routing as your liking (internal or external).

You can also do it the other way if your soundcard is already ok : simply go to Preferences/MIDI and select the VFXcontroler and its associated mapping.

thats what happen to me before when i purchase the Vfx Control.

heres a technic that i can share;

-go to preference/audio/soundcard/output 1, in the output 1 choose none then enter then choose again the output 1&2 then enter. that solves my problem

- always try to reset the soundcard config. everytime the output lost.

hope it helps.
