Hello, Im djing with Cross and whenever I try to record my mix, I can locate the file I recorded but there is no audio on it. Anyone have any explanation?

Which version of Cross do you use? Internal or External mode?

hey,
when you use external mixing mode than the mixing of both channels of the decks is done by your analog and external mixer. To record the mix you are creating you have to route the output to your computer and record it from that input. You can use the rec out of your mixer or if there is no one you can split the output and go to the input of your computer (line in) and to your speakers. use audacity or other audio recorder and record the line in.

Just reading this I remembered that you recommended No23 Recorder. I still use it today and find it lighter on CPU than Audacity.

True No23 Recorder is faster and use not as much CPU power than Audacity but to my knowlege there is only a german version of that program (its an german developer). But both programs will work for that  I also use No23 Recorder but I also have audacity to cut the songs. regards Christian
