U-Mix Control Pro acting crazy - (resolved)

Hi there I am new to this forum and are in need of some help!

My reason for being here is that my U-Mix Control Pro has all of a sudden gone from working perfectly fine to behaving very strangely and not work at all how it should.

It is very difficult to describe what is wrong but i'll do my best to list the problems.

- no output to headphones.
- when headphone 'source A or B' is selected it plays deck at full volume regardless.
- master volume control has very little effect, main volume control is on the speakers and the volume sliders on the mixer.

The headphones not working when the 'source' playing its deck at full volume when selected is most serious of the problems and has left me completely confused.

The firmware is the latest, 4.2 and has been running with a macbook pro and when tried on a different mac the exact same problems occur.

Nothing has been spilt on the controller, nor has it been dropped, banged or had a hard life / heavy use.

It was bought new whilst I was in Dubai in September 2011, where it worked perfectly fine until about a two months ago when it all of a sudden had these problems.

I am a beginner and the controller is still in brand new condition as i only used it at most once or twice a week for the few months it was working properly.

I have made a short video to try and portray the issues i am having. Please give it watch and see if you can help me in resolving this.

If an this is an issue with the hardware, how do I get in touch with the manufacture to have it fixed / replaced as it less than a year old?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i am very disappointed that this has happened to such a new and what was, a great product.

Thank you for your time

I have just updated my Macbook Pro to SL 10.6 so I don't have a screen shot from the time of the video.

But have just reinstalled Cross and hooked up the Control Pro.

I was hoping it would be magically fixed, but unfortunately no.

The problems are actually worse than in the video.

The Cross fader and deck volume sliders are 100% inactive and to play a song it plays through speakers when the headphone is selected.

Here is a screen shot of my setting as of now :

Thanks guys!

Can you check into your MIDI section if you have the correct mappings associated with the correct tab ?
