Headphone socket not working

Ive just brought a MixVibes U-Mix controler and the headphone socket doesnt work.

\ive tried a number of pairs of headphones.

All the volumes and levels are correct.

I took it back to the shop he plugged it in and it worked fine.

I got it home and it's not working again, i just get the same buzzing sound.

Could this be an incompatibility software issue.

Hi I'm still struggling.

I am using a sony Vaio.

64 bit With windows 7 Ultimate has 4GB of Ram.

I have a Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro (not 2)

I'm using Cross DJ 1.7.1 and I have updated the U-Mix Control Panel Firmware.

I thought it was the unit that wasnt working... but took it back to the shop and he plugged it into his mac and it worked fine.

I have tried older verisoins of Cross and used the stuff straight of the disk. I have also unistalled all the programs from the disk and downloaded fresh from the website.

Still i cant seen to get sound out of the haedphone socket.

The only way i can get sound is from plugging it inot the amp.

I'm sure it's a software issue because if i use Cross 1.6.1 i get sound through my Computer speakers and not through the amp... when i upgrade through the amp and not through the PC. Wither way i dont have anysound from the headphone socket.

I know the socket has power as i can hear a buzz when i turn the volume on full.

The chap in the shop played around with the laptop headphones and control unit and said.... try downlaoding new updates as and when they come out... he wasnt helpful.

You need to set Output 2 for your headphones, (output 3&4)

Click on the drop down and choose the above

If you haven't already, please download and install this

[PC] [WIN XP, VISTA, SEVEN] U-Mix Control Pro 1.0.3 Volume Panel

Then give it another go.
