Hello!
I have the Numark Mixtrack, but am liking Mix Vibes better than the Virtual DJ that came with it.
Can the basic Mixtrack controller work with Mix Vibes? I could only find Mixtrack Pro on the list of controllers.

Hello,
yes it is, that's a MIDI controller.....
the difference between the pro and your controller is the built in audio for the mixtrak pro....

That's all I have found, too. So it seems that you have to map it on your own. If you do so you can upload the final mapping so that the team members can add it to the download section.

Shure, but the only difference being the soundcard, why shouldn´t the mapping work.
at this price point i highly doubt that Numark developed two seperate midi-engines.

If reloop don't develope a different MIDI engine between soundcaraded/not soundcarded controllers, neither Numark.
On MIDI help, you can PM me

Hello
Thanks for the replies.
I downloaded the Mixtrack Pro MIDI mapping by Woolsheep and unzipped it.
I then used the C button to load the mapping in to Cross DJ 1.7.
But no response to my Mixtrack (non pro).
Does this mean the mapping doesn't work, or are there additional steps to take?

Hello,
before use the "c" button to import, have you check the box of your controller and press the "+" button to create a new clear mapping ?....

I did hit + first to create a clear mapping.
In preferences -> MIDI I have a new tab that says Numark Mix Track. The tab turns green when I manipulate any controls. But on the main screen nothing happens when I move controls.

You need to use the ">>" (import) button, to use shoolsheep´s mapping.
what you did is create a blank new mappping-file.

Thanks everyone. I got it working. Using the import button is what I had not been doing earlier.
