Hi,
searched the forum for some days no, but didn't found the answer.
some days ago I had a live mix - I always have security mode enable (using Cross 1.7.0) But the security mode does NOT disable the function to change A/B Deck assingment. So if you wrongly press one of theses buttons music will stop.
Is this fixed in the newer releases or is there any possibility to completely hide those buttons?
best regards
p-jay

First you can try the latest available version, 1.7.1 (go to the download center).
Unfortunately, i don't think your issue is addressed in.
That's not so simple.
A/B assignment ain't necessarily an action that requires the playback to be stopped as you can use it for one-turntable-mixing...
Moreover, these buttons are quite small, clicking them by mistake is not so easy...
Has anyone else experienced issues with this?

I personally have used Cross with 1 timecode, and have found these A/B control switching buttons too far from the main software interface to be hit 'accidentally'.
However as previously stated, switching the control should not stop the output of your audio, it will simply begin using the timecode to effect the other deck, and you will find that your cued track will start playing.
It would be good to be able to disable this feature for times when it is not used, but I don't think that it is in a 'problem position'.

As I remember, If you pull down the other deck fader, and switch timecode control to the other deck, music will keep playing, and the other should only start if you switch to "absolute" or "relative" mode.
Normally in "Flexible" mode it does not read timecode.
If you go to "Preferences/ CD/Vinly" on the buttom, you'l find "Automatic control mode swithing". Enable this.
As I remember, If I switched decks on timecode control, the one that was playing switched to "Flexible" mode automatically, and kept playing.

agree with johnny b, even easier would be a clone to the internal deck.
