I´m using a DJM-T1 with Cross, so I suppose the Nexus should work fine as well.

The idea to use a mixer with integrated audio interface and being able to control software is absolutely great! If my studies are finished I am saving money for an expensive A&H mixer, maybe the DB2, which is absolutely oversized for using at home and in the club twice a year but who cares? :D

We have a DJM900 Nexus at my work, I will test this with both timecode vinyl & CD. Might even test the MIDI stuff too.

Stay tuned for results!

James Zabie (Famous DJ from the UK, resident DJ of Space -Ibiza), is using DJM-900 combined with ableton, and with 2 CDJ-s, and he usually keep switching between MIDI and mixer modes during sets without problems or sets getting ruined, so it is definitely OK for this :)

For those that are interested, I had some positive results with the DJM900 Nexus.

The soundcard installed perfectly (after installing the drivers from the Pioneer website), and setting it up was simply a matter of mapping it just like my U46-MK2. The timecode quality was great, and I didn't notice any latency or glitching issues with it whilst having an hour-long scratch session..

Here's some pics of the config, obviously this is set up with only 1 timecode...

Yep, it worked great!
I didn't have a chance to test the MIDI stuff, but as Dz said earlier, pro DJs are already using that functionality in their setup, so it should work perfectly with Cross too.
