New Lapotop U-Mic Control Pro Panel Greyed Out

I have just migrated to a new laptop & now cannot connect my U-Mix Control Pro to my laptop.

If I connnect the controller with the USB cable & open the U-Mix Control Pro program on the laptop the pop up window opens but is greyed out & written on it is 'Device Unplugged'

I seem to remember something about running the program as an administrator. I believe the program is the current version from this website.

Hey,

Have you installed the newest driver for the device?
is the device plugged in and running when windows is booting? Please plug the device after windows is running the device to the computer. If it is active at booting windows is using the sound card of the U-Mix Control Pro as an default device so you are not allowed to use the device with another program.
If it is set as an default device in the audio preferences of windows please set the build in device to default after that unplug the device and perform a reboot after that turn on the device again and test if it is then running in Cross.
