Using headphones on U mixx 44 soundcard

Hi guys

I have been trying to use my headphones on the soundcard topractise certain sets when im not at work with decks and mixer. the u-mixx 44 has got a headphone output and i was wondering how i could use it.

First go to the DOWNLOAD section and download the latest driver for U-Mix 44, and isntall it.

Once you've done that, open DVS and in the audio setup choose U-Mix 44 ASIO (the own asio driver of U-Mix 44).

Select output 1&2 for Master Out and 3&4 to CUE out.
Then plug your headhones into U-Mix 44, turn the Monitor volume on the soundcard up, and start playing music.

Make sure that you activated cue on the deck you are using, so you can hear what you need.

If using headphones you have to use the adapter that came with the U-Mix44 and connect it to the rca-outputs 3/4.

No, because it already has a 3,5 jack (6.3 mm Jack on newer ones) connector for output 3/4.

But thats wdm only if I'm not mistaken.

No, it is not WDM only, in fact, it is only usable with Asio driver, since OS only uses Chanel 1&2 in WDM, and the headphone is mixed to chanel 3&4.

hi thanks for that. but will this work on Cross. if not how would you do it on Cross 1.7.1

You need to use the interface in ASIO mode and have to configure your audio routing correctly - that's it.

The headphones have the same signal than the 3&4 rca.
So in Dual stereo mode (Cross routing) it will be ok.
Multi ins & outs are only available if you use the soudncard in asio mode (with the drivers).
