Hi. Thanks for the swift response. Its an audiable glitch/delay when you release the jogwheel. I was using the pro which i had on loan on the same system and never had a problem.
what happens is you release the jogwheel and then there is a slight delay and then as it try's to catch up there is a distorted glitch sound and then it plays. i hope that explains a bit more. Thanks and regards

It is known and although people say it is an issue or bug it is absolutely usual. There is a difference between CD und Vinyl mode and this is why there is a slight delay. If you want to hold the track and release it immidiately after you have lift your fingers then choose CD mode.

Hi. I can live with it I suppose thats the difference in the pro and 2 models. It seems to be audible and visible on the waveform as it delays. Anyway thanks for your time.

Unfortunately no, same here on U-Mix Control Pro!

Yes, there is a/are thread(s) which decribe exactly your problem. If you try a forum search you might find them and have a look in it. From what I remember this was declared as "usual behaviour" but I can be wrong. So please do a search and find your info ;)

The UMC2 jogs are not touch sensitive, the U-Mix Control Pro ones are. You should have a difference into the behavior from this point of view.
UMCP2 try to understand when you have released the jog, U-Mix Control Pro know when you did.

Pitch mode should be into hybrid (not tempo).
