Hello, I got the Cross DJ Pack 1.7 program and I got a U-Mix Control remote update and it's currently on 1.7 and everything is working perfectly when I'm at home. But, every single time I take it out to DJ at a party or gig it will not work and it says "Please connect the iPad and the computer running to the same WiFi network".

So my question is, how come it works perfectly at home but when I'm out at someone's house or anywhere it doesn't work. From what I understand, it only runs off your WiFi, is that correct? Or Bluetooth?

At home, I got my WiFi internet connecting to my Mac Book Pro, it works but outside there's no internet, is that the problem?

You need to set up your mac to become the wifi host.
Just follow the manual to create a adhoc-network.
