Mapping with Reloop Digital Jockey

Postby shaunlever on 23 Feb 2012, 22:00

I've got a reloop digital jockey 2 interface edition and i've mapped it with the latest Vfx software which I love.

The mapping is fine but I can't get the Digital jockey's audio card to work. I've selected the controller in sound preferences but no sound!

Anyone got any ideas how I can rectify this please?

Did you try to use your soundcard with another software? Does it work?

You should remove the autoconfiguration of the soundcard and manually force the drivers to be asio (not wasapi) and select the Reloop drivers.

thanks for your help so far.

I've had a play again tonight and it appears that for some reason the cue function also seems to be controlling the output as well as the main output yet I can get my controller to split channels and crossfader.

Its almost as if the the phones and the master are mapped as the same thing if you get me and when I press cue it leaks out the track through my drivers.

Any ideas guys?

The behavior you describe is that you're sending the monitoring to the same channel as the master.

And both decks should be set to output [01]

This worked perfectly thankyou.

just one final question, is there a shortcut on the digital jockey mapping on the controller itself that allows me to flip between organise & mix?

In Traktor I just push the button in and it flips between the two but this doesn't do it, however you can use it to scroll down in the organise section.

No, this feature came after into the software so it isn't included into the mapping of this controller.
