If anyone can shed some light on this I would much appreciate it.
I Bought mixvibes a while ago, and had always worked fine for me. However I had not used it for almost a year, so after setting it all up again, I have a bit of a strange problem, that I havent had before and im using exactly the same set-up I had before.

Basically It appears that Cross is only picking up a signal from Deck B, and very occasionaly It has picked up a signal from Deck A but the quality has been terrible and the time code is completely out. I am 99.9% sure everything is set-up correctly.

Decks into inputs on mixvibes sound card
outputs into corresponding line inputs on mixer
Line output selected on USB interface
Phono selected on Cross.
usb connected to laptop via usb
external mixer selected and asio4all driver

if it helps im using 2x1210s and an ecler hak 360mixer
with a samsung r522 laptop.

anyhelp would be grealty appreciated! x

p.s not had a problem before with mixvibes and love the programme

Hey,

I have a question which OS and which sound card o you use.

If its the u46mk2 why you don't use the original driver instead of the asio4all.
Maybe something changed on the Asio setting?
What happens when you switch the input, I mean connect to from input 2 to 1 and 1 to 2 so twist the inputs is the problem then on the deck b?

Christian

I tried updating Cross and the asio drivers, still exactly the same problem so I un-installed and used tried the originals of both as I know these worked before. Still same problem.

When I switch the decks around, so deck A is Plugged into where Deck B would be, Deck A works and Deck B doesn't. Wierd huh?

  not to familiar with the t c set up ,have you checked that both decks are checked as in put in the selection area,in preferences/vinal cd :?: :?: are both deck on the gui selected to vinal,,,do both deck regerster in the calibration screen and are in the proper % :?: :?:

 thinking that if you only have one deck checked in vinal cd then that deck would play or control both decks if selected in gui :?: :?: :?:
hate to say need more info

Hey,

You wrote that when you switch the inputs that turntable for deck 1 is now in 2 and then the other deck is not running than it looks like there's something wrong with the connection of the not working turntable. Normal if it would be a software problem the deck would not switch when switching the turntables at the sc so check the not working turntable is there coming sound? How sound it? Is the cable maybe broken?

Check It and report us.
