In the manual there is a visual of how the top panel of Cross should look (lower screen shot) with a volume meter at the extreme left & right & an A & B imput to the middle right. As you can se from my Cross (upper screen shot) these are missing??

This is level meter for input and use for timecode which only Cross can do . As i can see you have Cross DJ which is not supporting Timecode cd/vinyl use and your soundcard inputs are disabled.

However, you'll have these meters and assignement buttons if you enable some inputs in your Cross DJ.
