Hi!

I just bought a U-Mix Control Pro device, but the device is not recognozed (device unplugged). So I tried to follow the various issues related to this problem on this forum, beginning by updating the device firmware.

But when I press the SHIFT and BROWSE A buttons together and put the power on (on the front, the rear power button being already on USB), the source A and source B does not light up, and nothing happens on the computer side.

Moreover, the Cross DJ software ask me for update to the full version, despite I saved the correct serial number on installation process.

Could you help me please to solve this issue and tell me what's wrong?

Hey,

have you connected other usb-devices on the computer? Maybe the USB-port has not enough power for the U-Mix Control Pro.
Please check this and unplug all other USB devices from your laptop. Also could you test the U-Mix Control Pro on an other computer?

Which version have you installed on your computer that it says please upgrade to the next version??

I have not connect other usb-devices on the computer.
Ican test in an other computer I have just this one. I have windows vista program but when I had buy the mixe vibes they said me that it's ok with vista...
I don't understand why is not possible to connect the mixe vibes.
In fact the mixe vibes is connceting but the program not recognize the sound card. So I buy U-Mix Control Pro but it's just U-Mix Control fonctionnality. I need pre-listening to do DJ mixe but pre-listening is not ok cause the program not see my sound-card in the U-Mixe Vibes controller.

I have install U-Mix Control Pro v4 and Cross DJ 1.6.1
Could you help me please?

thank you for the answer. but when I put the firmware U-MIX_PRO_V4.bin in midiUpgDisk it's not start it always the same.
Cross DJ 1.7.1 don't recognize the sound card with the configuration Mix Vibes Asio U-Mix Controle Pro.

have you downloaded the vol control panel suggested in jim b posting,, infomation in the user manual has info on checking the firmware ,and also the installation, it also has pictures as to how the sound card setup ,, the volume control panel is a important part of the setup,,,please read the manual it is very helpful

I had installed the control panel it always say "device unplugged" I don't know why... Also I have read the manuel but I not understand why the program don't see the controller. It say put on the U-Mix Control Pro but I had put on before.

look in preferences/MIDI and the tab for U-Mix Control Pro , should have a green lettered online,if red offline then turn the controller off then on and see if this get it on line also highlight the mapping for U-Mix Control in same page/tab you do have the audio set up properly
