Hello again,
I am having some trouble with my id3tags in Cross 1.7.1 In the demo version 1.7 they were looking fine, but now the ranking is not show correct. There are just some tracks with 1 and 2 stars. The once with 2 stars are marked with 5 stars in the id3tag.
Is that an error in the new version 1.7.1 of Cross?
Thanks
Phil

Just made a little testing and it seems that importing songs destroys the ranking in the id3 tags.
Added and then changed tracks are tag as they should be. When I then click on "reload tag" it destroyed again.

only mp3 files. write do tag is enable. and yes that exactly what happenes - nearly everthing is deleted. hope that this will be fixed soon as this is a huge bug.

I deinstalled 1.7.1 now and reinstalled 1.7.0 AND everything is fine. Just clicked on reload tag and there they are. So this MUST be an error in version 1.7.1.3 and not my mp3s.

OK I have one folder with maybe 30 subfolders that contains about 2000mp3 files. I marked those files with mediamonkey and give them their ranking. Then I imported this folder (with its subfolders) into Cross. I think (havn't tested) that all tracks that were marked with 5 stars in mediamonkey were shown in Cross with 2 stars. The one with 4 stars were shown with 1 star. All other tracks do not have any star in Cross, but they had in mediamonkey. Some tracks in mediamonkey were marked with 4,5 stars. I am not sure if this is a problem for Cross (I dont tested that also). I hope you can understand what I have done so far.
