I have just bought Cross DJ on my MacBook pro, and when i read the reviews it said that I could map my controller if it was not listed. I then plugged my controller in and nothing happened. I really need help as I think I've wasted my money. Thanks!

nothing will happen, as you already said, you need to map it at first...

but that´s really easy to do: open the CrossDJ Prefs, go to the midi-tab, scroll down to the bottom where there are 4 or 5 icons to click.

click the one that says something like "new mapping", it should be a (+).
Then Name your mapping, and assign the functions to the buttons&encoders on your gemini controller.

also a look in here http://www.mixvibes.com/sites/default/f ... nual_3.pdf might help you with basic mapping.

And no, you have not wasted your money, you just need to do as you already have read in reviews. Map.

Happy mapping and enjoy your Mixvibes CrossDJ

When i plug my MIDI controller in, it just says no MIDI device available, please connect your device. Although the power light is on the controller. It won't allow me to map on the preferences.
