I have Cross v1.7.0 and a hercules mk4. All is ok but it's impossible for me to use the headset to hear the songs before playing them.

i have the last version of hercules mk4 drivers.

could you help me please.

Open Cross prefs and select dual-stereo.

Yes i select dual stereo.

when I press the headset button in this mode, the sound does not come out from the headphones. it come out to the speakers

I have the Hercules 4-Mx and have the audio routing setup as below.



The Hercules mk4 should have a similar audio setup, so just copy my settings. Also you need to change the sound card.

Choose "Hercules DJ Console MK4 ASIO" from the drop down.

*EDIT*

If you see no option for the MK4 ASIO, then all you have to do is close Cross, open the Hercules Control Panel, go the the ASIO tab and click on the ASIO circle (it should turn green or blue, I can't quite remember).

After this is done the you should see the MK4 ASIO option in Cross.

i can see now in the drop down : "Hercules DJ Console MK4 ASIO".


But when i choose it i have this message : " error to open the Hercules DJ Console MK4 ASIO - out of memory "

Ok the error message. Close Cross completely.

Open Cross again and see if you now can choose the ASIO option.

i do this few time but i show again the error message.


i reboot my computer and i show again the message


for information, My computer have 4 GO ram (only mixvives is open) and 500 GO hard disk (400 GO Free)

Have you got the latest Hercules driver package installed. A new package was released a few days ago

Download and install the package.

Once the package is installed go to the Hercules control panel and set the MK4 to ASIO (by clicking on the little ASIO circle)

Then try Cross again.

now driver ok,

all is ok but now i don't have sound, nothing. no sound to the speaker, no sound to the headphone

Open the Hercules Control Panel and see if the sliders for Output 1&2, 3&4 are all the way to the top, also see if the Outputs are not muted.
