Any suggestion on how to setup audio8dj with Cross?
Do I need to remove the tsp cables?
If Im not mistaking j-kut is using audio8? Maybe you have the connections and latency all figured out?

I dont use the A8 anymore but you can just Set it up as usual using the tsp cables. Samplerate i Set to 44 or 88khz.
Drivers you probably will have to try which One Is best for you,
As NI released a lot of Sh!t....

Never used the TSP cable loom.
But Audio 8 work as any soundcard if you have the correct asio driver.

Hmmm, I have tried to connect it like normal, but Cross doesnt seem to get intouch with the A8.... Well, Ill try to screw around abit and see what comes out of it.

FYI: I have configured a Audio6 at my best friend's machine without any problems.

if the right driver is installed it shouldn't be a problem.
what´s your PC/mac specs btw?

al right, so what´s not poplin´with the A8?
Does it not show up in Cross, or what´s the matter?

When I start Cross using U-Mix44 it instantly detects the soundcard. When connecting the a8 nothing happens. No sound, no response. I am using the NI cables but maybe thats the prob?

I assume you know how to connect the cables, so let´s rule that out.
Have you configured the routing in the Cross prefs?
You know the U-Mix44 is auto-configured as it´s a Mixvibes device,
so probably all you have to do is select the right ins/outs for the A8 in the prefs.
