Unfortunately the U-Mix Control Pro I purchased , came with Cross DJ 1.5,Can you provide me with step by step instructions on updating to Cross DJ 1.7.

Do I need to go through all of the updates betweem 1.51 and 1.7 or can I skip right to 1.7 and upload 1.7 to get the latest version.

Is there anything I need to to do allow for proper upgrading to occue without any errors?

Wendy

:?: :?: not shure what message you are getting :?: :?: no you dont have to download all of the updates ,,,and not to shure if there is a 1.71 rc for Cross DJ ,,,but you should be able to go to the download section and down load the latest version for your software.. by your picture badge you are regerstered and avaible for the updates..  welcome to mixvibes

upgrades are a diferent matter ,,you can look at the product page and see what upgrade you might want,,

Just download and install Cross 1.7.0 as administrator. IF it does not work please post a screenshot of your error message. Thank you!

I was able to get the 1..6.1 installed. Since the 1.7 is in beta I decided against it for now. I do have a final question. Is there any special stpe I need to follow for ugrading the firmware or driver or U-Mix Control Pro?

Last but not least - are there any known software conflicts? I am using a laptop for djing only and want to make sure I do not have anything running that can potentially cause the computer to freeze.

Check the download section. On the page where you can download the image for your U-Mix Control Pro upgrade there is a installation tutorial. Well described!
