High Pitch Ringing on Vinyl

Hi all,

Everything is going very nicely with my new MixVibes Crosss pack.

Although, I do seem to have a high pitch ringing noise coming from the timecode vinyl. (I have referred to the manual, FAQ's and search feature here, but I can't find an answer.)

Basically, if I start a set with a relatively 'quiet' record (e.g. ambient track) there is a high pitch ringing coming from the timecode vinyl. I'd assume this is a normal thing with timecode - but it is audible through the monitors and also gets picked up on recordings.

However, if I play a loud track it's not noticeable at all.

Is there some kind of setting that anybody knows about that will get rid of this high pitch ringing sound?

Please advise

Sorry if this sounds silly - but what do you mean by the 'thrus' ?

first: http://www.mixvibes.com/sites/default/f ... manual.pdf
second: i you already have the u46mk2 driver installed, you will find that you can view a driver-panel with several routing/output options.

for the outputs named "monitor" just set to volume to zero (=0).

My bad. I did not have the Control Panel for the driver downloaded.

I have now.

Everything on the panel is set as zero but I still have the high pitch ringing.

Very strange.

there´s no bad installation on OSX since it´s a class-compliant device.

but you have to connect the u46 to be able to move the sliders.

It is connected and I can move the sliders. I'm stumped.

set the "monitor"-sliders to 0, and also click the "m" beneath them.

this disables the direct-bypass, so you won't hear anymore timecode-signal being passed thru.
