I just bought this software and when I go to use it and click anything on the left side it starts like jumping around and spazzing some of the controls as well. Anyone have any idea whats wrong/what I need to do to fix this?

which version do you use? 1.6 or 1.6.1? And please some more inforamtion like which OS, Hardware (soundcard, CPU, memory),
which files (m4a, aac, mp3 and so on)

hey, yea sry, i use windows seven professional on my lattitude E6500 with 250G worth of memory. It's version 1.6.1, i had 1.6.0 and it did the same thing. i thought updating it to 1.6.1 may fix it, but it still jumps around and spazzes out when i try to click on something. i kno it shouldnt have anything to do with the sound card or which files of music im using because i cant even get any music to the collection of Cross DJ lol. i tried redownloading the software as well and it didnt work. any ideas?

have you connected an MIDI Controller to Cross DJ?

And what typ of files do you use? it is important. Some codecs and formats are not working with Cross DJ or not compactible to the Cross DJ audio interface.
And which audio interface are you using? and also which mode (core, asio, OS driver).

And my last question is the computer optimised for audio?

nvm lol,i sort of fixed it. i started jus opening the software by right-clicking and clicking run as admin when i open it and its been acting fine now

Where did you click on the left side to get it jump around ?

He might be saying he opened the program by using the left click of the mouse and by right clicking and opening as admistrator it functioning correct

I'm trying to understand what was the action causing the issues when not run in admin mode!

actually, its still not fixed, it still jumps around even when i open as admin sometimes. and when i click on the left side im talking about the collection/files/iTunes/prepare/autoplay tabs and then the whole thing goes crazy

Have you got any MIDI controller plugged?

It looks like a controller is sending "continuous" messages that are interpreted by Cross as browsing actions...
