MIXVIBES Dj Community old forum

Hey,

I have Milkdrop2 files 1.0.4 downloaded. Can I add them to my existing mixvibes files in the VFXRESOURCES/MILKDROP folder. Will it work ? If its possible please let me know how to go about installing it. Or if it not possible to do this can mixvibes give us MILKDROP 2 files for download as an update.

Hi Sean,

Yes, you can. (it is an undocumented feature).

copy your milk files in the "\vfxResources\milkdrop" folder.
(you can remove existing ones if you want)

These files will be randomly played.

edit: my bad. I think only original milk files work (v1).

It should work but it doesn't (bug)... Next version maybe.

Milkdrop is availlable in 2 versions. V1 and V2. V2 presets might not be compatible with V1 presets.
Vfx uses V1 presets.

Can you tell me what is broken ? Everything seems to work for me.

Ok for your comment but your first answer could be because of a bug if it's not... Question? To you intend to update to v2 in a next future?

Of course i need MIXVIBES to update to MILKDROP 2 asap in the new version... with AUDIO INPUT & TAP BUTTON to bring out the full FEATURES in VJ'ing... IF u notice Visual artist TEKYES is using a V4 EDIROL MIXER, thts how he is able to SYNC with the DJ.

But along with the update do I get the freebies (Video Content) too?? ;-)

All Vfx owners will be able to download the video loops and goodies. Very soon.
