Hi , i need help , mixvibes Vfx has 3 errors :

-Player filter : can not open the codec
- runtime error!
Program:c:\programfiles(x86)\mixvibesvfx\mixvibesvfx.exe
this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
please contact the application's support team for more information

- mixvibes Vfx has found an error and needs to close.

my sistem is :
laptop dell, xps 15, intel i5,4 gb, nvida 540,
windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, mixvibes Vfx 1.2 & 1.2.1

can you explain more precisely? what do you do to have this error?

If you don't mind me chiming in on this. I've started having this problem recently as well. I was doing my normal gig on Saturday and about 2 hours into my gig, when I tried to load up a video, I got that error message. I thought that i might have been a bad video (all of my videos are .mp4), so i tried another one and got the same message. It did this on 6 different videos that I've played before with no problem. Actually had the program crash on me 4 times that night. Ended up fining the gig on my HDX's. When I got home, I reloaded 1.2.1 and was able to play all of the videos I had crash the program. But last night, while i was doing some music maintenance, it started doing the same thing again. So I re-installed 1.2.0 for now and I'm gonna try to see if I can replicate the problem and create a config report.

I'm still having a problem with the Milk Drop visuals in Vfx as well. I was playing an .mp3, started the visuals and when I activated the Milk Drop, the program seized up & shut down? Any suggestions?

My laptop:

HP DV6t, Intel 2nd Gen Quad Core (2.0), 8 Ghz Memory, AMD Radeon 6770 (1 Ghz), Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

is the same error that bigworm1063, when loading any video, mixvibes throws this error and a crash occurs, to return to work

i need close the software and reopen.
I have in my system now, mixvibes 1.2.0 upgraded to 1.2.1 Vfx
I need a solution please

So I tried to use Vfx 1.2.1 again last night after removing some videos that might have been a problem, but it still crashed on me after 45 minutes of use. I had run a couple of videos and I was mixing into an audio track. Played for 30 seconds then crashed. I switched over to 1.2.0 and had it work without any problems for 3.5 hours. Other than the fact that some of the videos drag in 1.2.0 (audio is fine, video is choppy for 30-45 seconds then it's fine), I've had no problems with that build. It's the new update that's giving me hell.

I am experiencing the same issues with 1.2.1. Around 30min of working with it I get codec errors on files that normally run fine.

I am back to 1.2.

I think we will have a 1.2.2 to fix this codec issue (reported by many users).
We will release this one asap.

New error:

"Vfx doesn't support this file and has to close it"

Why is that?

now i use 1.2.1 ..
first uinstalled everything ,installed v1 from cd than new 1.2.1
instal only quick time and NO K-LITE !!! (had freezing with k-lite)
and use older version of flash player .

mp4,hd mp4 ,mkv,vob,mpg is WORKING PERFECT !
i use Yourremix,handbrake converted,mediacoder, Etv remixes and mkv ! mix them together > no problems like before !
no more unsupported files ,no more crashes .

loops working great now
no freezing picture while using disco ball,milk and analyser LIKE BEFORE in 1.2 version


my problems now:
Vfx never starts on first > must click 2 times than open

mixing mp3 and video:
mp3 is playing > load video to another player>display on player one stops for half second ! but sound is going out without stoping ???

playing video >when turn SELECT X left or right ..to change effects >picture freezes for a blink of an eye !

when touch + - in zoom in media base> red or yellow audio line and peak level(Vu meter on display)STOPS for a blink of an eye > sound is playing without problems .



this is much much better than before
