I've got Cross 16 for PC and a Hercules E2 MIDI controller. Some of the controls work (cue, pause, jog wheel, pitch knob etc) but a lot don't (channel volume, Cross fader, bass mid and treble knobs). Also the second deck doesn't seem to play at all; i can load music in to it but then can;t hear anything!!
HELP PLEASE!

Have you mapped it yourself?
Cross 1.6 makes use of different midi-commands so older mappings won't work proper anymore.
Just go into the midi-prefs and map the buttons that don't work.

Duplicate the MIDI file with "x2" and edit the new one.

Hi I've got all functions and both channels to work now by changing the routing mode in the Audio options to 'dual stereo'. Is that ok?
Now i can't seem to monitor one channel seperately from the other, only what is playing through the main speakers comes through the headphones. I am in my PC's sound settings (Windows 7) but can't seem to make it work.
Thanks again guys

Hey,
at Cross it is very simple: go to the command you want to edit like Deck A -> play. Press the little + button and a window shout appear. Then you press the button at the MIDI device and you should get an entry at the window.
after that press ok and it is mapped. Jogs and potis are maybe a bit tricky to map. There you have to set the rang for example but it is mostly very simple

.
