Getting started with Easy Rec

Hi. New user here and I'm new to all this so please go easy on me, haha. I'm trying to use vinylripper 1.1.4. I've bought Easy Rec and set it up exactly how i'm supposed to, using the simple guide in the user manual (turntable - input U-Rip22 - laptop) and (Output U-Rip22 - mixer). However, the dB meter in Vinyl Ripper is not registering anything at all, and nor is my mixer on the output? If i listen through headphones on the mixer, i can just about hear the vinyl playing (very faint) but thats with the mixer gain turned right up! For info, the LED is permanently green regardless of what i do to the input gain control.

I'm clearly doing something wrong, but i have no idea what? This should be a simple set-up but yet i can't get it to work? :(

P.S. I have been to the download centre on this site and downloaded Easy Rec 1.1.2. I think i've tried everything and it hasn't helped so now i'm going to need some technical assistance. If someone could help me that would be great! :)

I have also plugged the turntable leads back into the mixer direct, and its fine. I have also swapped out the lead between the U-Rip22 and the mixer with another lead to check the cables.

I've noticed quite a few people have viewed this topic but have no response which is worrying. If this is a faulty item how do I get it repaired/refunded? I spoke to shop I bought it from who have told me I should use this forum as now I have used the serial number they're not interested in helping me. I feel like I'm caught between the supplier & manufacturer and i can't find help from either.

Guys, thanks for everyone who has tried to help me, but i'm getting nowhere fast. I emailed support@mixvibes.com who have not responded at all. I think i'm just gonna throw EASY REC in the bin and move on to another non-mixvibes product. Really, really disapointed with mixvibes as i'd hoped they'd be able to get my vinyl converted into digital formats but have failed in pretty much every department. I've bought a faulty product and neither the supplier or the manufacturer seem to want to help me. Needless to say i wont be buying any mixvibes products in future.
