Mixvibes U-Mix Control Pro Is Faulty, HELP ASAP PLEASE!!

I have a UMCPro & i ourchased it in march and the crossfader on command when on the right player when physically placed on the right side,will show on the screen as if it is 3/4 of the way to the right side therefore still producing a low sound from the left player if it is actively playing audio...please help me with getting this taken care of asap...i have been a mixvibes customer for a year and have had the UMCPro since March and i SWEAR by it!!!! THANKS

welcome to the fourm , glad you like U-Mix Control Pro , from what i gather you have had use of the U-Mix Control Pro where it was operating properly and you suspect a mechanial issue with the crossfader, well its suprizing that you havent regerstered your software on the fourm,, please do so to take advantages offered and, the people with more info and assistance will see this post and extend what support is nessary again welcome

First of all congratulations for the UMCPro i've got it since last month (bought it second hand) an it is really the perfect size and functionnalities for nomad-non-professionnal DJs like me ^^

About the crossfader, I've got the same type of problem, but slightly different:

-When on the UMCPro the crossfader is on the "extreme left" it is the same on the software (Cross DJ).

-When on the UMCPro the crossfader is on the "extreme right" it is th same on the software.

But when on the device it is "in the middle", on the software it is not... (the crossfader is "half left"...)
Maybe there is an offset included in the firmware that can be modified to set up the problem?

welcome to mixvibes and U-Mix Control Pro there is a firm ware update avaible and there is a release candidate ver for down load ,,,in the download section of course,, after doing the firmware update check if problem is still there if it is then more info on your set up might give us a little more insight and help you resolve your issues

I updated (again) the firmware (i'm now under the 4.2 version) but the problem still remains...
I'll try to explain it with the next "drawing":

suppose this is the crossfader: |----------------|
and this is the cursor: []

We have the following configurations:

-UMCPro: |[]--------------|
-Cross DJ: |[]--------------|
which is normal

-UMCPro: |--------------[]|
-Cross DJ: |--------------[]|
which is normal too

But I have in between:

-UMCPro: |-------[]-------|
-Cross DJ: |------------[]--|
Which is not normal !

In order to have the cursor in the middle on the software I have to put it far left:

-UMCPro: |--[]------------|
-Cross DJ: |-------[]-------|
which is not normal neither...

Which means this is just the "zero position" of the crossfader on the UMCPro that is "not in at the right place"... In the "MIDI" section of the settings only the left and right boundaries of the crossfade can be adjusted, but not this ézero position"...

There's a crossafder curve knob on the rear of the controller. Check its position (might be different from the default one) and try different ones to see how the crossfader behavior changes over the knob range.

I tried it already, the pb only disappears when the knob is 100% on "scratch position", which is normal because as soon as the crossfader leaves the extreme left or right postition it comes to the center...

After several attempts, the problem is still there. Do you think I should get in touch with the after sales service so that they mechanically adjust the crossfader?
