[EN] Loop view

I find the loop view obtrusive, even when it is turned off (ie. not USING the loop) and I can't find any way to delete the loop from a track (apart from stick it in the lead-in/out). That's why I'm posting this in the bugs section.

Could it be less obtrusive to the waveform view? The white shade when the loop is OFF should be used when it is ON, and when OFF it should be very faint, only slightly visible, or not there at all.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hi Stealthii !

That's already how it works...
When the loop is OFF, it's only slightly visible.

What's exactly the problem ?

Slightly isn't quite right. Maybe it's just me - I see it clearly and too much.

For me it's a distraction. Also when active it covers the waveform too much. Does it have to be this bright?

Maybe I'm just picky. I apologize if this is nonsense. However I don't believe you can't delete the loop. Should this be classed as a bug? (Or lack of a normal feature?)

OK I understand your point.

By the way, your remarks are quite strange as you want the "ON" loop to be more transparent and then still more similar to the "OFF" loop ...

Anyway, the difference between both displays might seem too small, I keep you note in mind for the future updates.

About the inability to delete a loop, you're right it's missing !
It's not really a bug but for sure a misfeature !

But, honestly, the only reason why you would want to delete a loop is for the time because the "OFF" display disturbs you, isn't it ?
So, maybe the previous issue should be addressed first and make this one obsolete ?

Generally, I (personally) would prefer both to be more transparent than they currently are :) But thanks ;)

Well that, but also the occasion I accidentally create a loop too (in a track where I never wanted a loop, happens mid mix, because my focus was not in the Collection search box )

  also found the loop highlight when on, a bit out of harmony with the general look of the program [ using ctoss demo] just my opionion  also came across a startling change in the up date to 7.3 home also in how the loop is highlighted.nothing life threating but not to my liking

Understood :)

Ok, but why would you need to delete this accidentally created loop ...? I mean, the only difference would be on display. As soon as you want to create a loop (for real this time), you override the previous one...

+1,

the colour scheme is not obvious enough... not always easy to figure out if a loop is active or not...
