Yeah, sorry, that was my point. I never managed to fully uninstall it. Will try again later.

I installed the newest Intel Matrix Drivers for that - still.

Do you have a RAID System? Deinstall it completely.

You mean to manage many hard discs in my notebook? no, i do not have such system and just one hard disc - except the external ones of course, but also tested it with playing from the internal disc.

I also removed any intel-software from the notebook.

Don't delete any, just the ones that are hdd drivers.
Like rst and the matrix driver then it will use the Windows driver instead.

Okay, but how can I find out which files exactly those ones are? are they called like that in the driver-folder in system32? And will Windows not search the internet for the most current ones and then download them again?

anything that has "RST - rapid storage - AHCI - Storage" in it´s name.

If you delete those Windows will load it´s own drivers.

just like "Realtek-Audio" vs. "Windows HD-Audio Driver".

Basically: Intel Chipset and USB Driver good.
Intel RST etc. possible cause of issues.

You shouldn't delete them, just force-install the Windows ones.

Devices manager :

update driver/manualy/choose from a list/uncheck 'display compatible device' then the first line in the left column should be the Microsoft Windows generic one, the other brands are just under into the list.

EDIT : uninstall sometimes work (for GPU it does), it removes the brand drivers and replace it by the Windows native ones.

Ok, but it'll install the generic ahci driver anyway, otherwise the laptop wouldn't work when you use a new hdd.

And to which devices exactly do I have to do this now? Confused
