rigght click the sample in the pad ,,should be a selection for pitch mode ,, also should be able to edit this feature in the sample banks info ,, called pitch mode ,, select none and see if this plays the sample at native speed or pitch ,, might be wrong but found when pitch mode was on it tried toi match the pitch of the playing track ,,

Did this get it back to having proper control of the sample banks/sample speed ,, understand that this doesn't aliviate the issue of the sample decks taking over master ,, this seems kinda backwards ,, ,, but the jury is still out on this verdict

DJRicoche wrote:Actually "MASTER" refers to the BPM - if you trigger a sample during a transition, the sampler becomes the master, even though that's not what I may want. I don't need Name drops and other things that have LOW or HIGH BPM's to take over the MASTER BPM, which is what this is causing. We should have the ability to prevent those decks from becoming Master decks - it can really screw up a mix if it switches and it's not caught before hand...
It's not a far fetched idea, and clearly I am not the only one having the issue.
This exact issue caught me out tonight, had a song in deck a at around 95bpm, sample deck at time had a sample at 132bpm.... Guess what, sampler took over master role and when new track which was loaded on deck b as rnb, I didn't realise what had happened and new track played at 132, woops. John.
