The beta is now out, the RC shouldn't b e long to come after this. You cannot test the beta, but you could test the RC when it will be release so you have an idea if this fix your issue.

If you said it was working in previous version, what is the need to change brand ? Simply stay with the one working...

I will be happy to test the RC and let you know if the issue reoccurs. (Hopefully the issue with not come back.)

Best,

Jeff

Jeff,

I don't know if you have tried this yet, but under preferences if you put your RAM usage down to 30-35% instead of maxed, it helps with crashing. I have a severely mean spec'd macbook pro, and I would crash at least 2 times an hour until I move the ram usage down, and I just happen to have set it between 30-35% and haven't had an issue since. I have no idea why it worked, but it did for me.

I am not sure whether the version of Mac OS X (Lion) that I use supports adjusting individual application memory allocations. But I will check and see if that is possible.

Thanks very much for the tip!

The default value is 60% and it also give you the amount of memory from your system specs.

Only the users that have been chosen for Beta testing have ability to download the Beta versions.

If you're not one of those then I'm afraid you will have to wait till a RC or Offical release is available.
