Try to run without external control to see if it happen.
you could also try with the internal soundcard in non asio mode.

Okay, I will try this!

While I was checking the xp optimisation I mentioned that a lot of progerties changed since I optimised them last time. I went down all points from the audioforums page and hat to change a lot of them that I already changed when I installed and configured DVS.
With this and your hints in mind I hope that I will solve this problem.

Thanks again!

Excuse me but I did not had the time to test it. I was busy with testing the DVS 7.3x RC that is working pretty brilliant for me. Sorry but I think I will work on with DVS because with my hardware and configuration it works better and is more reliable than Cross. In fact if there is more time after my exams at the end of april I will get back to Cross and see if I will solve the issues.

security was NOT on! was bizzare. Deck b was still working fine. I tried to recalibrate, it was working ok, but it would not let me load any tracks i tried into deckA (hot key or drag n drop). Never seen this happen b4. i might have to go back to DVS soon too :(

Ok, could you give me more inputs on this please ?
- how many time were you playing ?
- what soundcard/frequency/latency
- how do you load track ?(kb, MIDI, drag, track selection)
- from where do you load them (collection/playlist/iTunes/explorer).

Hey Support! :) more info for sure:
*It was 2:20hrs into a set (around 30-35 tracks i think)
*SC=fa66 firewire w/original drivers/44khz/.06-.08 sec latency (256 samples if i remember )
*loaded from collection(keyboard then tried to drag, then tried from iTunes also)
*security off
*It displayed 99% timecode read, but would not let me load into that deck(A). i was able to load another track into deck B when this happened, just not deck A! was very strange, and had never seen this before.
*running on a 1.6 celeronM-toshiba w/1 gig ram,(yes old PC!) partitioned for MV only. Minimal essential drivers. no net connection. XP optimized for MV. Texas instruments pcmia firewire interface.
Cheers
