I did no mods or optimisation into the OS, I only removed the search toolbars, so it's a bloatware edition !!!

And you got the problem?

DPC latency said it's ok :
top process : antimalware
top drivers : hal, usbport, iastor

DPC latency checker : peak at 616ms

All this while running CrossDJ 2.2 with a UMCP2 on battery (!) with wifi /on (!!), and it works flawlessly.

I only had one slight drop while loading a not analyzed track, scratching, looping, jumping to locators it works ok.

Maybe you need to install some bloatware instead of optimizing...

I mean if you stick to e=mc² here, maybe it means the more junk (m) that´s on your system the more power it has

I didn't do anything to mine and actually my Power4Gear is set to :
battery / entertainment
with default parameter :
moderate power saving / cpu from 5 to 80% / webcam : off; optical drive : off.

Did you ever tried on battery only ?
I can't use mine on battery for now because the ground loop is awful.
Will mod the power plug later...

Mh, then could it be that some of the UMCP2 series are defected? o.O

When I used other interfaces, I also never did any optimization and they simply worked, same should happen here, like in your case.

being serious again, have you tried disabling the midi-out?
maybe the led-messaging is getting in the way of the audio-stream.

in the midi-prefs, there are those 2 boxes, one for midi-in one for midi-out.
