Then maybe we should all search for more detailed Hardware-Information concerning our notebooks? Like a complete hardware-list for our type? o.O They all have to have something in common, otherwise it really is a Win7 64 <--> UMCP2 issue.

It didn't work. I get the error message shown in the link when I try to add either the Cross.exe or the U-Mix Control Pro driver - DEP must be enabled.

Finally setup a rig, with an OEM recovery image.
Specs : ASUS A42J, Core i5-480M, 4GB, Radeon 6470M, W7x64 home.
I did no mods or optimisation into the OS, I only removed the search toolbars, so it's a bloatware edition !!!
