The main reason a splitter cable is needed in iOS/Android are the hardware limitations.
For Win/Mac you'd better spend some money to have a second stereo output with a simple USB soundcard, starting at like $/E 10,-.
If you're trying DJing you find Cross (DJ) having the features present at any 'normal' CD player. So loop/routing/etc are default features.
VJing requires different 'investment'.
And last but not least the Android/iOS world have the channels build in to do low price purchases. For Win (and Mac) the costs of cheap licenses would make it impossible to have a profit margin.
By the way the LE version is only available when bundled by a controller manaufacturer. That's why you don't fine to much info on this.
