Cross 1.7 is from 2012. I am not a OSX user, but do think the 10.5.4 version is more recent.

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

i´ve downloaded it with a Windows PC it´s no problem.

Take a Windows PC download it and copy it on a USb Stick
Dont know why mac doesnt work.

you have the option of downloading it from a friend. then copy it to a USB stick and install it on your Mac .
I do not know if Mac has an option to use a different browser . maybe you should try it so times when it does not work with the Safari
