not understanding what you mean by the shift function ,, glad you got it ,, the keyboard mapping is pretty stright foward ,, other than knowing what parameters to use for desired effect ,,

my apologies i was using the shift function as a gateway for my cue points in players 3 and 4. i trying to use the keys !@#$ (1234) with shift to control for cue points 3 1-4 and %^&* (5678) for player 4 1-4 basically i was trying to consolidate my cues for space and use the other keys on the keyboard for future key mappings

kinda looked in my key board mapping ,, duplicate from original ,, saw where there is a command using shift/ctrl to control a function ,, not a software right now,, so not thing using shift and another key was the problem,, but might be wrong ,,,,my original duplicated map was deleted due to getting U-Mix Control Pro,, just remodified to get Cross fader to arrow right /arrow left ,,, if the mapping is sticking/staying with the software ,, then you issues are mute ,, ,, have fun ,, its a viable solution if not wanting to connect controllers and using software only

In keyboard mapping you can use shift key.
For controllers the function shift allows for a second set of commands for controls.
It might be you mean that you tried to mix the two.
EXACTLY! i tried to use the shift key to do the same things as players 1 and 2 but with 3 and 4 as far as my cue points are concerned, but im using the keyboard in the Cross program and i do not have a controller as of yet

im not sure whats going on but honestly i dont think the shift key works the same way on the keyboard as it does on a controller its kinda weird but i hope this will get fixed in the near future and by the way i am just using the keyboard since my equipment is not with me at the moment

Still will be hard to fix something that seems broken only for you. Could you upload your mapping so I/we can try it. Only one thing that comes to mind now. As the user defined mappings are in your local user profile, could it be you run some tools to auto sync files. I attached my mapping. For keys 1-8 it sets locators. Shift 1-8 removes the indicator. It is set to work for 'active deck'. 2160123369.mappings
